Youth

As parents, we want our children to enjoy life, make good decisions, have healthy relationships and grow up to be happy and successful.

Life for young people today, however, can feel overwhelming at times. They can experience intense pressure to achieve or to fit in with peers and may struggle to navigate the deluge of choices and information that comes their way. Often children feel insecure, doubt themselves or suffer from anxiety. Some young people withdraw, act out, or find other more harmful ways of “dealing” with this pressure and anxiety. Many end up settling for a degree of happiness, engagement, and success significantly lower than what is possible for them.

In our work, we help young people find and keep their balance by helping them move away from letting external factors determine how they feel and toward living their lives from the inside out—using their common sense and wisdom as a guide. As children see their innate health and intelligence, they get less distracted by negative thinking and become more hopeful, confident, and clear headed. In this process, kids can become virtually immune to peer pressure, their insecurities dissolve, they feel more light hearted and hopeful, they discover real interests and have the courage to pursue them, they make good decisions and learn from their mistakes.

We help young people learn to live life with a fresh healthy perspective, greater joy and confidence.
